Essentia
August 2026
Essentia has a distinctive product story and strong purchase reassurance, but mobile speed, late-stage trust, and disconnected promotion messages interrupt the path to purchase. This roadmap first removes urgent funnel breaks, then makes value, reassurance, and the EMF upgrade visible at the moments when shoppers decide.

Eight focused opportunities
Each concept shows the customer-facing change.
PDP Mobile Page Speed
Page: Stratami™ Organic Mattress
The Stratami mobile page takes 33.8 seconds to display its largest element and 42.6 seconds to become interactive. The buy box competes for resources with the gallery, financing widget, and video before shoppers can use it. The proposed experience brings the first product image, price, selectors, and Add to Cart into view first, then loads secondary content after.
* The core Stratami product experience becomes visible and usable before secondary media. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Homepage Mobile Page Speed
Page: Homepage
The mobile homepage carries an 11.2 MB load, with the video-led hero contributing to an 11.8-second largest-contentful paint and a 37.1-second interactive time. That delays the main brand promise and the first shopping action. The proposed experience opens on a compressed branded still with the existing headline and CTA, then makes video available after the first screen is ready.
* A compressed brand still carries the first screen, with video available after the page is ready. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Sale Pricing Visibility
Pages: Organic Mattress Collection and product detail pages
The sale banner promises 20% off, but collection cards and product pages display full price until the cart applies the discount. The offer therefore stays abstract during product comparison and configuration. The variation pairs the original price with the active sale price wherever mattress pricing appears.
* Original and discounted prices appear together before the cart, matching the active sale. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Cart Purchase Reassurance
Page: Cart
The cart confirms the discount and subtotal, but it shows no trial, warranty, or shipping reassurance before checkout. This leaves documented Essentia benefits outside the final pre-checkout decision. The variation places the 120-night trial, 20-year warranty, and free shipping directly above the Checkout button.
* Trial, warranty, and shipping reassurance appear immediately before checkout. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
PDP Trial and Warranty
Page: Stratami™ Organic Mattress
The Stratami page keeps the 120-night trial and 20-year warranty inside collapsed accordions below Add to Cart. Shoppers must open those rows to see reassurance that already exists. The variation adds a concise trial and warranty row directly below Add to Cart while keeping the detailed accordions available.
* Trial and warranty terms become visible immediately below Add to Cart. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Paid Landing Page Product Match
Page: Paid-social destination and Grateful Eight Organic Mattress
Paid creative names the Grateful Eight mattress, but its captured destination opens the Grateful Bed Jr kids’ mattress with five reviews. The shopper sees a different product from the one they chose to explore. The corrected path sends that promise to the verified Grateful Eight product page and preserves the adult-mattress context.
* The Grateful Eight promise now opens the matching adult mattress page. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
EMF Protection Upgrade
Page: Stratami™ Organic Mattress
The EMF Foam Protection Upgrade appears as the third buy-box dropdown, with “No EMF Foam Protection” selected and no visual emphasis. The option is easy to treat like another required configuration choice. The variation gives the existing upgrade a clear recommended treatment within the same buy-box flow.
* The existing EMF upgrade gains a clear recommended state inside the buy box. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Financing Landing Path
Pages: Financing landing page and mattress shopping path
Financing-focused paid traffic promises payment options starting at 0% APR, but the captured landing page shows information with no Add to Cart action across three folds. Shoppers can learn how financing works without a direct route into a buy box. The corrected path keeps the financing promise visible while sending shoppers into a transactional mattress-shopping experience.
* Financing-focused traffic now reaches a mattress-shopping surface with direct product actions. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Biggest Killers of Conversion Rate
- Mobile speed is the dominant funnel constraint. PDP LCP is 33.8 seconds, homepage LCP is 11.8 seconds, and both pages carry about 1.4 to 1.5 MB of unused JavaScript.
- Purchase reassurance arrives late. Trial and warranty terms sit in collapsed PDP accordions, certification proof appears in homepage fold three, and the cart shows no trust signals.
- Promotion and pricing messages conflict across paid traffic and the site. The active 20% sale is absent from paid creative and product pricing, while other captured savings figures do not match the sitewide offer.
Data sources used
What the data showed

- Financing-focused traffic lands on an informational Affirm page with no Add to Cart action visible in the captured folds.
- Paid-social creative does not mention the 20% sitewide sale shown on its destinations.
Google Ads

- Captured savings messages include 30% and 22%, while neither matches the 20% sitewide sale shown on-site.
- The reviewed creative does not mention the “REST & RECHARGE SALE” by name.

- Layout stability was not a problem: CLS was 0 on the homepage and 0.007 on the PDP.
- Unused JavaScript represented about 1.5 MB of potential savings on the homepage and 1.4 MB on the PDP.
Site Screenshots
- Collection cards and the Stratami PDP show full prices while the cart applies the 20% discount and itemizes a $719.80 saving.
- The Stratami page places 4.5 stars and 36 reviews above the buy box, but trial and warranty terms sit in collapsed accordions below Add to Cart.
- The cart shows one mattress, quantity controls, the discount, subtotal, and Checkout, with no guarantee, returns, or warranty signal.
- The EMF Foam Protection Upgrade defaults to “No EMF Foam Protection” and has no visual priority over the size and height selectors.
