Privacy Policy

CONVERTIBLES ("we") runs convertibles.dev, a website for a conversion rate optimization (CRO) agency. This page says what data the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

  • What you send us. If you book a call, request a teardown, or email us, we get what you type: name, email, company, store URL, and the message itself.
  • How the site is used. Pages viewed, referring site, rough location from IP, device and browser type. This comes through Shopify's built-in analytics and any analytics pixel configured in Shopify, such as Google Analytics.
  • First-touch cookie. One small cookie remembers which link or campaign first brought you here, so we know which channels produce real conversations.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to you and run the call or teardown you asked for.
  • To see which pages and channels work, and improve the site.

We do not sell personal data. We do not run ads networks or retargeting on this site.

Who else sees it

Tools that process data for us, each under their own privacy terms:

  • Shopify hosts the site and its analytics.
  • Calendly handles call bookings.
  • Google Workspace handles email.

Beyond these processors, we share data only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking and email data stays in our inbox and calendar for as long as we may work together, then is deleted on request. Analytics data follows Shopify's retention settings. Cookies expire on their own; the first-touch cookie lasts 90 days.

Your choices

  • Ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it: email team@convertibles.dev. We answer within 30 days.
  • Block or clear cookies in your browser. The site still works.
  • If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Client data

When we work for a Shopify store, we access that store's data under the agreement with that client. That data is covered by the client's own privacy policy, not this page.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top moves and the change is described here.
