Eureka
CRO Testing Roadmap
August 2026
Paid traffic arrives with clear training, health, and sampling intent, but the first purchase areas often lead with configuration instead. This roadmap carries those promises into the decision point, strengthens premium value, and makes trust easier to see.
Eight focused experiments
The testing roadmap
Taste Tester Symptom Match
Page: Taste Tester PDP
Health-focused traffic arrives with a gut, itching, and joint promise, while the first purchase area leads with the sample mechanics. The reason for the click is separated from the buying decision. The variation adds a compact digestion, skin and coat, and joint-support block above the offer.
The health promise moves into the first purchase area. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Starter Pack Use Cases
Page: Starter Pack PDP
Trainer-led traffic reaches a buy box that asks shoppers to choose recipe and autoship before it explains the relevant use case. Reviews already describe Eureka as a treat, topper, and enrichment food. The variation adds those three uses directly under the review row.
Training rewards, toppers, and enrichment become visible before product configuration. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Sample-First Homepage Hero
Page: Homepage
The homepage hero sends every visitor to a generic shop path, while the Taste Tester offers a smaller first step for fussy-dog shoppers. The variation keeps the split layout and dog imagery, but leads with the $19.99 Taste Tester and moves the general shop path to a text link.
The Taste Tester becomes the primary homepage path, with the general shop link retained. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Premium Value Block
Pages: Starter Pack and Taste Tester PDPs
Price is the clearest objection in reviews, even when customers still want the product as a treat or topper. Positive reviews justify the cost through no fillers, no crumbs, smaller feeds, and dogs eating it. The variation adds a compact value block for full meals, toppers, training, and enrichment near price.
The premium price is paired with concrete ways to use every bag. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Autoship Consent and Control
Page: Starter Pack PDP
Autoship is selected with perks, but renewal, cancellation, and shopper control are under-explained at the decision point. A negative review says the shopper never signed up for more, while positive reviews praise pause and delay controls. The variation makes recurring delivery and account control explicit inside the selected panel.
Renewal and shopper controls become part of the selected autoship choice. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Taste Tester Health Proof
Page: Taste Tester PDP
Offer-focused traffic carries an 86% health-improvement claim, but the first purchase area does not show that proof near the button. Shoppers see the sample offer without the strongest reason to believe behind it. The variation pairs the 86% claim with the 4.9 rating directly above Add to cart.
The health-improvement claim and review proof sit directly above the purchase button. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
Homepage Proof Upgrade
Page: Homepage
The hero proof shows Trustpilot and 76,000+ dogs, but omits the review themes that make Eureka distinctive. Reviews repeatedly mention fussy dogs eating it, shinier coats, reduced stomach trouble, no fillers, and flexible subscriptions. The variation adds a compact proof row beneath the existing trust line.
Review-backed reasons to believe join the existing Trustpilot proof. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
First-Fold Performance
Pages: Homepage and Taste Tester PDP
The homepage recorded 11.8s LCP and 0.641 CLS, while the Taste Tester recorded 20.3s Speed Index and 1,223 KiB of estimated unused JavaScript. Slow completion and layout movement can delay the content shoppers need first. The test keeps the visible experience intact while stabilizing first-fold media and prioritizing the hero, buy box, quantity controls, and CTA.
Critical first-fold elements load into reserved space without changing the visible design. Concept illustration only. Final design will differ.
