Peachybbies
CRO Test Concepts
Nine concepts built from Peachybbies' own data: 10,914 survey responses, 37,302 Shopify orders over 90 days, and 518 reviews. The pattern is clear: price stops almost no one (0.9%). What loses the sale is that the two things customers buy on, texture and scent, are hard to judge on the current site. These ideas fix that, and give fans more ways to buy and re-buy.
Sell the Membership on the Homepage
Client priority · RetentionThe homepage asks a question instead of making a case: "Do you want brand new peachy slimes delivered right to your door every month?" Everything that makes the membership worth $39.99 sits on the product page and never reaches the homepage: three subscriber-exclusive slimes, a brand new theme every month, and a collectible illustrated box. We rebuild the block around the membership itself.
- Lead with the membership: three subscriber-exclusive slimes, a new theme every month
- Show the collectible box and the real savings inline: $39.99 a box against $48 retail, $88 saved on 6 months, $176 on 12
- Answer the commitment worry in the block: skip any month from the customer portal
- Keep drop and early-access language out of this module and route that intent to the existing SMS and email capture
Translate Scent on the Product Page
Client priority · ConversionScent is the second biggest reason a shopper walks away, but the product page shows it as a bare name like "Pink Sugar Scrub" with no way to know what that means. We give scent a system: a family (sweet, bakery, fruity, fresh), a strength meter, and a short "smells like" line. This is the online stand-in for smelling the jar.
- Add a scent family + strength meter + "smells like" descriptor to the PDP
- Tag scent family on collection cards so it is scannable before the click
- Carry scent family into the collection filters (see concept 4)
A Texture Glossary + Slime-Type Comparison
Client priority · DiscoveryTexture is the number one thing shoppers scan by and the number one deal-breaker, yet the site uses shorthand (TTS, Bingsu, Cloud Dough, Butter, Jelly) that first-timers do not understand. We decode the terms and let people compare textures on the things they care about: how holdable it is, the ASMR sound, and how soft it feels. Slime School already teaches this, but it lives outside the shopping flow.
- Add a tap-to-explain texture chip on PDP and collection cards
- Build a texture comparison ("Butter vs Cloud vs Jelly") page from Slime School content
- Add tap-to-explain to the existing texture filter pills (feeds concept 4)
Smarter Collection Filters: Texture + Scent
Client input · DiscoveryThe collection page already has a texture filter pill row (Bingsu, Butter, Clay, Clear, Cloud, Floam, Icee, Jelly). That is the right instinct, because texture is how people shop. But the pills are bare names with no explanation, and there is no way to narrow by scent, the second thing shoppers care about. We keep the same easy-access spot at the top and upgrade it: clearer texture pills, plus a scent sub-filter row right beneath.
- Add a scent sub-filter row under the texture pills, in the same top position
- Tap-to-explain on each texture pill (ties to the glossary in concept 3)
- Allow texture + scent together (e.g. "Butter" × "Sweet") with a live result count
ASMR Texture Video on the Product Page
Research-led · ConversionTexture and ASMR are the heart of the brand, but product pages are still just photos. A short, muted-by-default clip of the slime being stretched and poked, with tap-to-hear sound, translates the number one buying axis the same way scent translation handles number two. The brand already has this footage in its "People love Peachybbies" TikToks.
- Autoplay-muted texture clip next to Add to Cart, tap for ASMR sound
- Source from existing UGC / TikTok drop videos
- Test clip-first vs photo-first gallery order
Build-Your-Own Bundle
Client priority · AOVFixed bundles already sell (Weekly New Slime Bundle, Slimes Around the World). Customers ask for more, including bigger sets. A "pick your own" bundle lets fans mix textures and scents into one gift-ready pack at a set price. Because price is not the blocker, the win comes from choice and gifting, not from a deep discount.
- "Build your bundle: pick 5, save" with live price as slots fill
- Mix by texture / scent, nudged by the glossary from concept 3
- Gift framing: add a message and an arrival date at the end
Checkout + Post-Purchase Upsell
Client priority · AOVThe basket sits at under three items. A one-tap add at checkout, and again on the thank-you page, is the lowest-friction way to lift it. The strongest offer is the $6.99 Sticky Fix Spray Pen, which directly solves the "arrived a little sticky / under-activated" note that shows up in reviews. Adjacent sensory toys, charms, and squishies are natural add-ons too.
- One-tap Sticky Fix Pen add at checkout ("keeps every slime perfect")
- Post-purchase upsell on the confirmation page, no re-checkout
- Rotate adjacent add-ons: charms, enamel pins, squishy toys
Gifting Mode + Delivery Confidence
Research-led · TrustAbout two in three orders are gifts, and the harshest reviews are missed birthdays and Christmas deliveries, not the product. The anger is about surprise, not speed. We add a gifting flow with a clear "arrives by" date and shipping-speed choice up front, plus a gift message and wrap, so buyers can trust the deadline before they pay.
- Show an "arrives by" date and speed options on PDP and cart
- Add gift message + gift wrap at checkout
- Surface the existing Gift Guide inside the gifting flow
Restock Alerts + Drop Waitlist
Research-led · Demand captureWeekly drops sell out, and reviews name specific slimes shoppers wanted but could not get, including out-of-stock replacements. Right now that demand just leaks away. A "notify me when back" on sold-out pages and an early-access waitlist for the Friday drop capture it, and feed the email and SMS list.
- "Notify me when back" on every sold-out product page
- Friday-drop waitlist with member early access
- Use low-stock counts as honest urgency, not fake timers

9 concepts. All backed by Peachybbies' own data.
Our pick for the first 3 slots: the Texture Glossary and Scent Translation, which act on the two things customers say make or break the purchase, then the Subscription rebuild for recurring revenue. Happy to walk through the rest and choose together.
