Client Onboarding

From kickoffto launch

This is the roadmap for our work together. One kickoff phase to get set up, then a monthly loop that keeps tests shipping.

[ 2-week deep-dive ] [ Concepts by mid-month ] [ Clear decisions, fast builds ]

The first weeks

Four steps, in order. Each one unlocks the next.

STEP 01

Kickoff call

We get to know each other, walk through this process, and sort out access: Shopify, analytics, and anything else we need to see your data.

STEP 02
2 weeks from full access

Data deep-dive & concepts

Once we have access, the clock starts. Within two weeks we go through your data and present the highest-impact test concepts, each backed by evidence from your store.

Here is what a concept presentation looks like: see an example roadmap.

STEP 03
Feedback within 3-5 days

Your decision

For every concept we need one of three answers, and a why behind it. That tells us exactly what to confirm or rework before any design work starts.

Yes No Maybe + why
STEP 04
Feedback within 3-5 days

Wireframes & lock-in

We turn the confirmed concepts into wireframes and send them over for approval. Once approved, the scope is locked and the build begins.

For both concepts and wireframes, we need your feedback within 3-5 days of sending. That keeps the monthly rhythm intact.

Locked-in tests land on your live roadmap: see an example roadmap.

One honest caveat

After concepts are confirmed (step 3) or wireframes are locked in (step 4), changing direction means changing the scope. We have to step back in the process, and the roadmap shifts with it. Decisions made once, made well, keep everything on schedule.

The monthly loop

After the first cycle, steps 2-4 repeat every month. We aim to present next month's concepts around mid-month.

While one month's tests are being built and launched, the next month's concepts are already on your desk.
